The government has declared that it will pay Rs2.5 million per school to enhance the conditions in government schools across the province.
The monies may be spent with the agreement of the School Management Council.
It is possible to renovate the science lab, paint and lacquer it, and build additional rooms.
PREPA rules have also received concessions for using the monies.
Previously, the school council was only authorized to spend Rs200,000, and the school principals had to pay high taxes to use the cash.
The amount of Rs2.5 million would be distributed separately from the non-salary budget.
Schools will continue to get the NSB routine every three months.
Rs2.5 million would be distributed to schools just once.
