Zindigi Prize, a revolutionary entrepreneurial competition, was a great success at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) during its KPK Regionals.
The event, which was organized by Zindigi and co-hosted by GIKI, has emerged as a major changer in the country’s business environment. Following the overwhelming success of the Z Prize regionals in Lahore and Islamabad, GIK followed suit.
The three-day event at GIKI began with an amazing opening ceremony exhibiting creative concepts from KPK Regional young entrepreneurs. Workshops, presentations by notable Pakistani entrepreneurs, and Speed Dating sessions enhanced everyone’s experience. The last day featured the Zindigi academics Innovation Summit, which bridged the gap between academics and the corporate sector by displaying 85 firms.

The panel of judges named MUSJ from the University of Engineering and Technology as the competition’s winner after careful discussion and examination. Ootien from Fatima Jinnah Women University in Rawalpindi and Aquadrone from CECOS University in Peshawar finished second and third, respectively.
Shahid Khattak, KPK’s Minister of Science, Technology, and Information Technology, praised students’ outstanding efforts to addressing and resolving social concerns in his speech. He saw their potential as a driving force for good change in KPK. He complimented JS Bank and GIKI for assisting young entrepreneurs and cultivating an innovation culture via programs such as the Zindigi Prize.
Minister Khattak announced joint efforts to expand the Zindigi Prize to all levels of government educational institutions, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs and supporting KPK’s economic development.
