The promotion of 19 PAS officers to Grade 22

ISLAMABAD The High Powered Selection Board’s recommendations led to the promotion of 19 Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officers to Grade 22.

Additional Chief Secretary Ahmed Raza Sarwar, Planning & Development Board Chairman Nabeel Ahmed Awan, and Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman are among those promoted to the top bureaucratic position. Among them are Secretary of Health Nadeem Mahboob and Federal Secretary Momin Agha of the Petroleum Division.

Additionally, Chairman FBR Rashid Mehmood Langrial received Grade 22, while Ambreen Raza, Secretary of Food Security Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, and Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani were promoted.

In the meantime, eight Pakistani Police Service (PSP) personnel received promotions to Grade 22. Those who received promotions include BA Nasir, Ghulam Nabi Memon, Farooq Mazhar, Imran Yaqub Minhas, Khaliq Shaikh, Zubair Hashmi, and Tahir Rai.

Notably, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Inspector General, was not approved for promotion to Grade 22.
