Petrol price increased to Rs458.40 per litre, diesel to Rs520.35.

ISLAMABAD, (Pasar Digital): Ali Pervaiz Malik, the Federal Minister for Petroleum, stated on Thursday that the price of gasoline will rise to Rs458.40 per litre and that of high-speed diesel to Rs520.35 per litre.

Speaking at a news conference with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, he stated that the government will prioritize tailored protection for disadvantaged populations rather than offering general subsidies to all facets of society.

He said that crude oil prices have reached all-time highs in the markets of Dubai and Oman, where Pakistan purchases around 80% of its energy supply. He said that the price of crude oil and diesel had risen to all-time highs, surpassing $250.
